The Reform Movement of 1898 (1898) was written by Emperor Guangxu, and Shi Jing University Hall was established under the auspices of Sun Jianai. The original school site is located in Jingshan East Street (formerly Mamiao) in Beijing and Honglou in Shanghai Beach (northeast of the Forbidden City) (now No.29 May 4th Street in Beijing).
Ren Zhongxue and Xu Jingcheng are the head teachers, while American missionary Ding Weiliang is the head teacher of western learning.
1912 in may, Shi Jing university hall was renamed Peking University, and Yan fu became the first president of Peking university.
19 17, Cai Yuanpei became the president of Peking University.
From 65438 to 0937, Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University moved to Changsha to jointly establish Changsha Temporary University.
At the beginning of 1938, the temporary university moved to Kunming and changed its name to National Southwest Associated University.
1946 10, Peking University officially resumed school.
1952 yenching university was merged into Peking University, and Peking University moved from Beijing to Yanyuan.
