The procedures for collective hukou residents to apply for passports are the same as those for ordinary hukou residents. The procedures for handling passports are as follows:

1. Residents with collective hukou hold their ID cards to the exit-entry administration department of the public security county bureau where the hukou is located to receive the Application Form for China Citizens to Go Abroad for Private Purposes and fill it out. At the same time, we must truthfully answer the necessary inquiries of the entry-exit police.

Second, submit an application. When submitting an application, you must bring the following materials:

(1) Submit my ID card and its copy and the registration form of permanent residents of collective account. (During the collection, renewal and replacement of resident identity cards, temporary resident identity cards may be submitted.

(2) Fill in the complete "China Citizens Going Abroad for Private Purposes".

(3) A number of bareheaded photos that meet the requirements.

3. The exit-entry administration of the public security organ shall issue ordinary passports within 15 days from the date of receiving the application materials, and the issuance time may be extended to 30 days in remote areas or areas with inconvenient transportation or due to special circumstances. Do not meet the conditions, it shall explain the reasons in writing, and inform the applicant of the right to apply for administrative reconsideration or bring an administrative lawsuit according to law.
