Hebei Normal University, founded in 1902, is one of the comprehensive universities with the longest history, the largest scale and the most complete disciplines in Hebei Province. The school was formerly Hebei Beiyang Women's Normal School. After many times of evolution and development, it was changed to its current name in 1985. The school covers an area of 1683 mu and has two campuses and two affiliated hospitals.
Founded by People's Republic of China (PRC), Ministry of Education and Hebei Provincial People's Government, it is a provincial key university with a history of one hundred years.
