According to the report of China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), by the end of 20 14 and 12, the number of netizens in China had reached 649 million, the Internet penetration rate was 47.9%, and the number of mobile phone users reached 557 million, an increase of 56.72 million compared with the end of 20 13. The proportion of netizens using mobile phones has increased from 8 1.0% in 20 13 years to 85.8%. Internet has changed people's work, life and way of thinking to a certain extent, especially for college students who are at the forefront of the information age. College students, as a huge group deeply influenced by the Internet, surfing the Internet has become an important part of their study and life, and it is an important way for them to acquire knowledge, understand current events, inquire information, exchange feelings and have fun. However, the network is a double-edged sword, which brings rich information resources, but also brings many negative effects, especially for college students with weak awareness of network security and poor self-protection ability, which has aroused widespread concern of educators. Strengthening network security education and awareness is of great significance to strengthening the construction of network positions in colleges and universities and improving the self-protection ability of college students.
First, the status of college students' network security education
The survey shows that 77.64% of colleges and universities have carried out network security education, actively carried out positive publicity, broadened educational horizons, expanded audience groups, and strengthened publicity, which has played a certain guiding role in education. But there are also many problems in practice, and the effect is not very optimistic. In the survey, 57% of the students said that they obtained network knowledge through self-study, 26% through classmates, and only 17% obtained network knowledge from school. Right? Network security education? Feeling? Only 16.7% is satisfied, and nearly 50% think? Not satisfied, average? . Answer? How do you think to improve college students' network security education? 32.54% students think this problem should be solved. Second, the status quo and problems of college students' network security education
At present, the effect of network security education in colleges and universities is not satisfactory, which is mainly manifested in: the content of network security education is rigid, the methods are outdated, the education team is scarce, and education is a mere formality.

With the rapid development of the Internet and the increasing amount of network garbage, many foreign universities fully realize the importance of network security education and offer related courses. 3. Lack of network security education team.
In traditional safety education, educators have certain educational advantages. But the status of educators in network security education is not so. The rapid development of the network puts forward high requirements for educators, who need to be familiar with the network, update their knowledge and improve their professional quality. For network security educators, the disadvantage is that quite a few educators are far less experienced in mastering network knowledge and using network technology than college students. This serious asymmetry in network use ability further increases the difficulty of network security education and obviously limits the effectiveness of network security education. Therefore, under the new situation, the network security education team of college students needs to be further improved. Specifically, they should not only have firm ideals and beliefs, lofty professionalism, but also have network technology, network communication skills and communication skills. Only in this way can we improve the effectiveness of network security education.
4. Network security education is a mere formality.
The existing network security education pays more attention to the transmission and mastery of network security knowledge, but not enough attention to the cultivation and practice of network security awareness. In order to meet the new requirements of college students' development in concept and behavior, network security education should also keep pace with the times, constantly expand and improve the content, and constantly enrich college students' network security knowledge.
