Kobe University, located in the international seaport city of Kobe, takes the concept of "harmony between academic research and social practice" as its philosophy, devotes itself to knowledge innovation and cultivates outstanding talents who have contributed to society. So far, Kobe University has trained many outstanding graduates who are active in all walks of life. Kobe University, as a research and teaching institution that experienced the Hanshin Awaji earthquake, is also actively committed to disaster prevention and relief research and volunteer activities.

Kobe University is a research-oriented comprehensive university with 10 colleges and 15 graduate schools with about 16 students. The humanities/humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and life sciences/medicine have cooperated with each other and developed together, thus building a unique and excellent research and teaching environment in Kobe University.
