Guangxi University of Science and Technology (to be established) was approved by the Ministry of Education in April 20 12, and Guangxi Institute of Technology and Liuzhou Medical College merged to form Guangxi University of Science and Technology. The standard name of Guangxi University of Science and Technology can be determined in early 20 13. The school is located in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The school was formed by the merger of Guangxi Institute of Technology and Liuzhou Medical College.
