Neither the applicant nor his parents are Korean nationals.
2. Academic conditions
Freshmen: Applicants must have completed or will complete regular high school studies.
Transfer students: have completed two or four semesters in a four-year university (two semesters per year, excluding summer semester study and any semester/stage study held during holidays) and obtained more than half of graduation credits; Or graduated from a two-year or three-year school (or will graduate).
Double-degree major: students who have completed two to four semesters (excluding winter and summer vacations) in universities that have signed double-degree agreements with Asian universities and completed more than half of the credits required for graduation from universities before;
Is a student recommended by a university that has signed a double-degree agreement with an Asian university;
Before, the average scores of subjects in universities were all above B (80/ 100).
3, language ability requirements
Korean proficiency requirements:
Korean Proficiency Test (TOPIK) level 3 or above; or
Graduated from College of Languages affiliated to Korea University (before graduation); or
Or the third stage of preparatory course for Asian universities (AFP) (or before graduation)
English language proficiency requirements: obtain a specific level of English language proficiency test results.
Double degree major:
Korean Proficiency Test (TOPIK) level 3 or above; or
Get a specific level of English language proficiency test score (IELTS test score 6.5; Or other English language proficiency test scores authorized by the country that meet the requirements).
Matters needing attention ※
Applicants whose mother tongue is English or who have completed the whole process of primary school, junior high school and senior high school abroad do not need to submit English scores.
○ Foreigners with dual nationality are not granted certification, provided that they have acquired foreign nationality through the adoption of foreigners and acquired foreign nationality before entering primary school (G 1).
○ By primary school? Junior high school? The principle of taking the Korean academic system as the standard during high school education (the authentication methods during overseas education are primary school 1 academic year to 6 academic years, junior high school 7/academic year to 9 academic years, and senior high school1academic year to 12 academic year).
○ Applicants from countries with primary school, junior high school and senior high school educational system less than 12 only have the qualifications of high school graduates in foreign educational process corresponding to Korean 12 or above, but the graduation certification of foreign high schools is based on the academic system and semester of domestic ordinary high schools.
○ Academic certificates equivalent to overseas high school diplomas such as GED will not be certified.
