Liaoning University of Engineering Science is a university jointly established by state administration of work safety and Liaoning Provincial People's Government, a national project implementation university and one of 88 national key universities. The school has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Founded in 1949, formerly known as Fuxin Engineering Higher Vocational School. After several important development stages, it was renamed and upgraded to Liaoning University of Engineering Technology on 1996.
