Inner Mongolia University of Technology, located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is a key construction university in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a multi-disciplinary university with distinctive characteristics, integrating engineering, science, literature, economics, management, law, teaching and art, and has a complete talent training system for doctors, masters and undergraduates.
Its predecessor was Suiyuan Senior Industrial School, which was founded in 195 1. Inner Mongolia Institute of Technology was established by 1958 with the support of Tsinghua University. It once belonged to the Ministry of Machinery Industry and the Ministry of Agricultural Machinery. 1983 was placed in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and 1993 was renamed Inner Mongolia University of Technology. 20 1 1, the school was shortlisted for the second batch of "excellent engineer education and training plan" by the Ministry of Education.
By the end of 20 13 and 12, the school has run schools in Xincheng Campus, Jinchuan Campus and Zhungeer Campus, covering an area of 3 178 mu. At present, there are 24 colleges (departments and centers) and 69 undergraduate majors, with nearly 25,000 full-time students, more than 2,000 master students, 65,438 doctoral students and 65,438 international students.
