The College of Pharmacy was established in 1998. There are six teaching and research sections for basic and clinical pharmacology, pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, drug analysis, Chinese pharmacy and Chinese medicine processing, and research rooms and research institutes for drug metabolism center, molecular pharmacology and drug research institute. There are 44 faculty members, including 8 professors (or equivalent professional and technical positions) and 8 associate professors (or equivalent professional and technical positions) 18. There are 3 doctoral supervisors, 2 master supervisors1person, and 80% of the teachers have doctoral degrees. There are 3 academic and technical leaders in Anhui Province, 2 reserve candidates for cross-century academic leaders in Anhui Province, 3 key teachers of the Ministry of Education/KLOC-0 and 3 provincial-level teaching masters in Anhui Province.

The college has the Key Laboratory of Anti-inflammatory Immunopharmacology of the Ministry of Education and the provincial key disciplines of Pharmacy and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Anhui Province. Pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine is the key discipline construction point of traditional Chinese medicine in state administration of traditional chinese medicine. The course of clinical pharmacology in our hospital has been rated as a national excellent course, the teaching team of clinical pharmacology has been rated as a national teaching team, and pharmacy (clinical pharmacology) is a provincial-level teaching reform demonstration major in Anhui Province. Pharmacy specialty was approved by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as the third batch of characteristic specialty construction sites in colleges and universities, and the innovative experimental area of medical compound talents training mode was named as the innovative experimental area of talents training mode in Anhui Province. At present, he has undertaken more than 0/00 natural science research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation Project, the research in the early stage of major national basic research (1973), the 863 project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the major scientific and technological project of "major new drug creation". Over 400 academic papers have been published in recent three years.

At present, the college has three undergraduate majors of pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine and clinical pharmacy, two master's degree authorization points of pharmacy and traditional Chinese medicine, a doctor's degree authorization point of pharmacy and a "postdoctoral research mobile station of pharmacy", forming a multi-level school-running pattern integrating undergraduate, master's, doctoral and postdoctoral education.
