Anhui Engineering University is a provincial multi-disciplinary institution of higher learning and a key construction institution in Anhui Province. It is the first batch of pilot colleges for comprehensive reform of colleges and universities in Anhui Province and the pilot unit for comprehensive innovation and reform in Anhui Province. The extended materials are the governing unit of China Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of UNESCO, the member unit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Branch of Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, and the member unit of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Alliance of Colleges and Universities. It has been selected into the first batch of outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training programs, the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program, and the national new engineering research and practice project.
The history of the school began in 1935, when Anhui Private Internal Division Senior Technical School was established. It was renamed as Anhui Engineering University in 20 10 after the school-running stages of Wuhu Motor Manufacturing School (formerly under the Ministry of Machinery Industry), Wuhu Machinery School, Anhui Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College and Anhui Engineering Vocational and Technical College.
As of April 20021year, there were 15 secondary colleges and continuing education colleges offering 60 undergraduate majors; In postgraduate training, there are 16 master's degree authorization points for the first-level discipline and 10 master's degree authorization categories; There are more than 23,000 full-time undergraduates, with faculty 1400, including full-time teachers 1000.
