The current higher education in China has a relatively stable talent training program, which is designed according to the academic system of universities. For example, the general college education system is 3 years, the general undergraduate education system is 4 years, and some medical undergraduate education systems are 5 years. The corresponding talent training program is also designed for 3 years, 4 years or 5 years. In order to facilitate teaching, these talent training programs are unified and collective-oriented, and it is impossible to face a few students with special circumstances. On the other hand, part-time students have to go back and forth between school and work unit, which not only increases the difficulty of school management, but also affects the quality of personnel training, because students often delay their studies because of work.
Based on the actual situation of higher education in China, there is no precedent for undergraduate colleges to apply for work-study programs.
