There are two kinds of graduate students in the University of Hong Kong. One is a teaching master's degree, and it is also the one with the largest number of applicants. This kind of master is employment-oriented, mainly attending classes. You don't have to write a thesis after graduation, you can graduate with full credits. The other is a research master's degree. This kind of master's degree is generally two-year, mainly academic, and each college enrolls fewer students every year. And think about the major to choose.

2. Prepare application materials

Generally speaking, the application materials are divided into two types, one is general materials, that is, proof of study, undergraduate report card, IELTS test report card and internship certificate, and the other is clerical materials, including a PS (personal statement, 800-word English composition), a resume and two letters of recommendation. General materials need to be prepared in Chinese and English and printed on school stationery.

Step 3 submit an application

Online application is generally open from September to May/June of the following year. However, due to the large number of applicants, the deadline for individual majors is relatively early, especially the postgraduate entrance examination at the end of 65438+February. After the postgraduate entrance examination results came out in February, the competition was fierce, so the earlier you apply, the better.
