2. Students with specialized subjects. Those who really have expertise and transfer to a certain major have a strong interest, ambition and foundation in applied major, and can give full play to their expertise after transferring to a major.

3. Other undergraduates. Approved by the school, due to personal hobbies or some special difficulties or non-personal reasons, you can't continue your studies without changing your major; Or do suffer from a certain disease or physical defect (excluding those who hide their past medical history), and are proved by the school hospital or the hospital designated by the school to be unsuitable for studying in the original major, but they can still study in other majors of the school.

Students applying for changing their major should meet the following basic requirements:

Principle of changing major:

1, science students' engineering majors can be transferred to the corresponding engineering or liberal arts majors enrolled in the school that year;

2. Science students majoring in science can transfer to the corresponding science or liberal arts major enrolled in the school that year;

3. Students majoring in liberal arts of science students can transfer to the corresponding liberal arts majors enrolled in the school that year;

4. Liberal arts students can be transferred to the corresponding liberal arts majors enrolled in the school that year;

5. Art students can be transferred to the relevant majors of art enrollment in the school that year;

Procedures for excellent students to change majors:

1. Three days before the start of the first semester of the second academic year, the academic affairs office of the school will publish the list of students whose credit scores in the first academic year are in the top of the professional rankings 10% (students who postpone the course are not included in the scope of changing majors).

2. In the first week, from Monday to Tuesday, students fill in the form of intention to change majors in triplicate. From Wednesday to Sunday, the college organizes applications for transfer students for interviews. The college announces the specific interview time online. The interview college gives each student who participates in the interview the result of "agreeing to accept or disagreeing to accept" and publishes it online. According to the interview results, students who plan to change their major fill out the application form for changing their major online and print a copy and submit it to their college. The college will submit the application form to the academic affairs office after the preliminary examination of the student's application.

3. In the second week, the Academic Affairs Office confirmed the list of students who changed majors in each college and publicized it for three days. Students who have objections can appeal to the school's teaching guidance Committee. The Office of the Secretary of the Teaching Steering Committee is located in the Teaching Quality Management Section of the Academic Affairs Office.

4. In the third week, the relevant colleges will do a good job of transferring students and accepting students, and students will go through the formalities of transferring majors. The Academic Affairs Office will open the right to choose courses for students who change majors, and students will complete the course selection and enter a new major.

Procedures for other types of students to apply for changing majors:

During each semester 18- 19 weeks, the students themselves apply and fill in the Examination and Approval Form for Students' Changing Major in Guilin University of Electronic Technology, and attach relevant supporting materials. Student status management:

1. Students who apply for changing majors should fully understand their intended majors in advance and apply for changing majors carefully. 3. Students who transfer to a new major have the same student number when they enter school. After students change majors, they must complete the required courses and credits according to the requirements of the professional training plan for changing grades before graduation. If the course scores and credits in the original major meet the requirements of the corresponding courses in the transfer major training plan, they will be included in the corresponding course scores and credits after being identified by the transfer major colleges and the Academic Affairs Office. Courses whose credits are lower than the requirements for transferring majors must be re-selected. Students must make up the courses that have not been taken in the grade major but have been completed.

4. The cumulative actual study years of students changing majors (including the study time before changing majors) cannot exceed 6 academic years.
