Mingxiang Campus of Taiyuan University of Technology is located in the new urban area in the north of Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, about 35 kilometers away from Yingxi Campus of Yingze West Street in Taiyuan City and about 8 kilometers away from Jinzhong City. It leads to Taiyuan and Yuci through several bus lines.

The campus covers a total area of 2,278 mu, with a planned construction area of 820,000 square meters. Now 72 single buildings have been put into use, with a construction area of 520,000 square meters.
