Candidates applying for electronics and communication engineering, control engineering, computer technology and other fields are not limited by working years. Those who are admitted as master of engineering must complete the postgraduate course and engage in engineering practice for more than two years, and complete the thesis (design) in combination with the engineering tasks before they can defend the master's thesis (design).

Candidates who apply for software engineering are not limited by their working years. If you are admitted as a master of engineering, you can defend your master's thesis (design) after completing the postgraduate course and combining the software engineering task.

The deadline for calculating the working years required by the registration conditions is July 3, 20061.

Second, the registration procedures and requirements

Examination registration adopts a combination of online registration and on-site registration.

1. Online registration: Candidates registered online on the website of Shanghai Education Examinations Institute in early July 2006.

2. Qualification examination

In late July, 2006, candidates who successfully completed online registration must also show their original ID card, graduation certificate and bachelor's degree certificate, as well as an application qualification examination form (in duplicate) with their photos and official seals, and go to the research room and the Admissions Office of Shanghai University (Room 4 10, Shanghai University Administration Building, No.99 Shengong Road, Baoshan District) for qualification examination. 4. Special precautions for registration:

1) Candidates must remember the online newspaper number.

Third, the examination methods and subjects

The entrance examination for engineering postgraduates was held in late June 2006 at 65438+ 10 (see the admission ticket for details), and the examination was conducted in two stages.

The first stage: entrance qualification examination (English name is graduate candidate test, abbreviated as? gct？ )。

Organized by the state, it mainly tests the comprehensive quality of candidates. The examination time is 5438+ 10 at the end of June, 2006 (see the admission ticket for details of the examination time and place). Candidate? gct？ This grade is valid for two years. ? gct？ The examination paper consists of four parts: language expression ability test, mathematical basic ability test, logical reasoning ability test and English application ability test (candidates applying for foreign languages in our school need English). ? gct？ The full score of the test paper is 400, and each part accounts for 100. The test papers all adopt objective multiple-choice questions, including reading comprehension, analysis and judgment, right and wrong discrimination, scenario analysis, mathematical problem solving, logical reasoning and so on. The examination time is 3 hours, and each part is 45 minutes. ? gct？ The proposition is based on the Guide to the Entrance Examination for Postgraduates (2006 Edition) (published by Science and Technology Literature Publishing House).

The second stage: the comprehensive test organized by our school.

Candidates with qualified gct scores take part in the comprehensive test organized by our school. Please pay attention to the online notice of our school in graduate department for the specific time and place.

Fourth, the admission method

The admission score standard of master of engineering is decided by our school. There is no limit to the number of students admitted to our school, but the number of students who have graduated from National Education University but have not obtained a bachelor's degree shall not exceed 10% of the total number of students admitted to our school.

V. Length of study time

Master of engineering? Will you stay at school? In order to apply for a degree on the job, flexible and diverse teaching methods can be adopted, and the study period is 2.5 years, of which the cumulative study time at school is not less than 6 months.
