Beijing Forestry University, referred to as "Beilin" for short, located in Beijing, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and under the key construction of the State Forestry Administration, a national "double-first-class" construction university and a "21/project" construction university.
The school can be traced back to 1902, Shi Jing University Hall Agricultural Colin Project. 1952 The Forestry Department of Beijing Agricultural University and the Forestry Department of Hebei Agricultural College merged to form Beijing Forestry College. 1956 The Department of Landscape Architecture of Beijing Agricultural University and the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University were partially merged into the school. 1960 is listed as a national key institution of higher learning. 1985 was renamed Beijing Forestry University.
