Daqing Experimental Middle School was founded in 1985, promoted to provincial key middle school in 1992, and promoted to provincial demonstration high school in 2000. Now it is the second largest high school in Asia. The original site is located at the intersection of Jingsan Street and Wei Ba Road in Saertu District, Daqing City. In March 2005, the school moved into the new campus located at No.6 Xiushui Road, High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The campus is located in a university park with strong cultural atmosphere, adjacent to Daqing Petroleum Institute, Bayi Agricultural University and Harbin Medical University, surrounded by Liming Lake, Binzhou Lake, Daqing Academy, Daqing Opera House, Daqing Olympic Center and swimming pool, with superior geographical location and convenient transportation.
