In 20 14, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, our school added two Sino-foreign cooperative education projects: computer (software engineering) and automation (automation). According to the requirements approved by the Ministry of Education, both projects are included in the national enrollment plan of ordinary colleges and universities, and candidates must take the unified enrollment examination of ordinary colleges and universities nationwide and meet the relevant enrollment regulations and requirements. In 20 14 years, the software engineering major plans to enroll 120 students, and the automation major plans to enroll 100 students. Candidates are required to fill in their volunteers according to the enrollment batches and codes published by local provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions). Our Sino-foreign cooperative education program only recruits candidates with professional volunteers.

Students who participate in the software engineering undergraduate education program jointly organized by Southwest University and Deakin University in Australia (approved by the Ministry of Education: moe50au2a20131450n) will study in Southwest University for 2-3 years, and those who pass the examination and obtain a visa to go to Australia will go to Deakin University in Australia for 1-2 years. Those who meet the relevant requirements of the two universities will be awarded a bachelor's degree certificate in software engineering and a bachelor's degree certificate in engineering by Southwest University, and a bachelor's degree certificate in software development by Deakin University.

Students who participated in the undergraduate education program of automation specialty jointly organized by Southwest University and the University of Western Australia (approved by the Ministry of Education: moe50au2a20131580n) studied undergraduate courses in Southwest University in the first three years, and those who passed the examination and obtained visas to go to Australia went to the University of Western Australia for two years. Those who meet the relevant requirements of the two universities will be awarded the bachelor's degree certificate and bachelor's degree certificate of automation major in general higher education by Southwest University, and the master's degree certificate of automation major by Western Australia University.

Students who participate in Sino-foreign cooperative education programs can continue to study in Southwest University if they fail to apply to Deakin University or Western Australia University for various reasons. In line with the relevant requirements of Southwest University, Southwest University will issue undergraduate diploma and bachelor's degree certificate of general higher education.

For students enrolled in 20 14, the tuition fee is charged at the standard of 26,000 yuan/year when they study in Southwest University (the actual tuition fee is subject to the standard finally approved by the price department), and when they study in Deakin University or University of Western Australia, the tuition fee is charged according to the regulations of Deakin University or University of Western Australia. During their study abroad, students are required to pay the school registration retention fee to Southwest University at the standard of 4,500 yuan/year.
