Article 8? Xi Jiaotong-Liverpool University adopts two methods of enrollment and selection, namely, college entrance examination and comprehensive evaluation based on college entrance examination. The comprehensive evaluation admission model is only applicable to Jiangsu Province and Guangdong Province. Article 9? Xi Jiao Tong University of Liverpool enrolls students according to professional categories. Candidates only need to choose a major category when filling in the college entrance examination volunteers, not a major within a major category. The name of Xi Jiao Tong University's enrollment major in the "Enrollment Major and Plan of Ordinary Colleges and Universities in 2022" compiled by the enrollment authorities of all provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions is only for students to voluntarily fill in the college entrance examination. At present, the school offers 48 undergraduate majors and directions.

Freshmen enrolled in the 2022/23 academic year can choose all undergraduate majors in the second semester of freshman year. In order to ensure the continuous and stable academic norms and teaching quality, one or more of the following conditions must be met when choosing related majors:

(1) Complete all the prerequisite courses required by the selected major;

(2) Some majors need to participate in the professional aptitude test or selective evaluation of the selected majors, which can be conducted by means of credit course examination, portfolio evaluation, interview and/or examination specified in the training plan for specific majors;

(3) Some majors have specific requirements for the academic performance of one or more courses in the first semester of freshmen.

The enrollment of provinces, municipalities directly under the central government and autonomous regions that implement the new college entrance examination in 2022 shall be implemented in accordance with the admission policy of the new college entrance examination in 2022. Candidates' professional volunteers must meet the requirements of the selected subjects of this major.

Article 10? When Xi is admitted to Liverpool University, he will be selected according to the principle of giving priority to scores and following the principle of voluntariness, and the proportion of applicants will be controlled within the proportion stipulated by the local entrance examination institute. For those candidates with the same score who enter the file in excess of the proportion, Xi Jiao Tong University will select the best candidates according to the results of the college entrance examination (excluding policy points), the total scores of three foreign languages and foreign language scores. When the candidates' scores are the same, they will consider the candidates' college entrance examination scores (excluding policy scores), the total scores of three courses other than languages and foreign language scores in turn, and make a professional admission decision. ?

Article 11? Schools strictly implement the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, China Disabled Persons' Federation jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination of College Admissions" and other relevant regulations. Students need to have a physical examination after entering school. Those who cheat in physical examination or conceal information about major diseases will be disqualified according to relevant regulations once verified.

Article 12? After the new students enter the school, the school will review the candidates' admission qualifications according to the regulations, and those who pass the examination will get the official student status.

Article 13 Xi shall be handed over to Xi Youmin, Executive President of the University of Liverpool, to issue the admission notice for the 2022 college entrance examination.

Article 14 Xi Jiaotong-Liverpool University implements full English teaching for specialized courses. The university does not set a minimum score line for English in the college entrance examination, but hopes that candidates have a good English level and a strong interest in English to adapt to the full English teaching environment.
