Tokyo Agricultural University (Japanese: とぅきょぅのぅぎょぅだぃがく, English: Tokyo Agricultural University)

It is the earliest private agricultural university established in Japan and the only agricultural university in Japan. Before the end of World War II, Tokyo Agricultural University was one of the few full-time universities that had the right to award doctoral degrees in agriculture, including Imperial University of Tokyo, Imperial University of Hokkaido, Imperial University of Kyoto, Imperial University of Kyushu and Tokyo Agricultural University.

By 20 14, Tokyo Agricultural University had formed sister schools with 30 universities with agriculture as the core in the world, including Tuanji Michigan State University (USA), Cornell University (USA) and China Agricultural University (China).
