With the development of the times, many college students are facing the current situation of difficult employment. More and more college students choose part-time jobs during their college years to adapt to the development of today's society. However, some college students attach too much importance to part-time jobs and neglect their studies. Based on the investigation of college students' part-time jobs, this paper analyzes the relevant information of college students' part-time jobs, helps college students to establish a correct concept of part-time jobs, and provides relevant countermeasures for schools and society to guide college students to choose and treat part-time jobs correctly. Help college students benefit from part-time jobs so as to better adapt to future work and social development. In order to understand the current situation of college students' part-time jobs, I made a questionnaire survey here to investigate the situation of college students' part-time jobs. Regarding the types of part-time jobs that college students are currently engaged in, the survey results are as follows: The results show that most of the part-time jobs such as waiters, leaflets distribution, promotion, family education and campus part-time jobs are students, and a few students are engaged in translation and other part-time jobs. According to the analysis of historical data, most students (59.3%) chose part-time jobs unrelated to their majors, and only a few chose part-time jobs related to their majors. With the continuous progress of the network, part-time information channels have also become diversified. Part-time job information is not only put on paper articles, but also published online. With the emergence and development of various online platforms such as Zhaopin, it is particularly convenient for college students to obtain part-time information, which also provides convenient conditions for college students to take part-time jobs. Contemporary college students, known as the post-90s generation, live in the network age, are exposed to many new things, understand quickly and dare to try new things. Therefore, this has created their attitude of keeping pace with the times. As part-time jobs are just emerging, a large number of students have tried this activity.
