Wuhan University of Technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is the first batch of universities listed in the national "2 1 1 Project" and "Double First Class" construction. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transport. The history of running a school originated from Hubei Technical School established by 1898.

Since the school was founded 125 years ago, especially in the recent 70 years, the school has trained more than 600,000 senior professionals. It is the largest school directly under the Ministry of Education to train talents in the three major industries of building materials, construction, transportation and automobile, and has become an important base for high-level personnel training and scientific and technological innovation in China's "three major industries". 1, civil engineering

Civil engineering mainly studies the basic knowledge and technology of survey, design, construction, maintenance and repair of various land engineering facilities, and carries out new construction, reconstruction or expansion of various engineering buildings, as well as survey, planning, design and construction of related supporting facilities. The main engineering facilities include houses, roads, railways, pipelines, tunnels, bridges, dams and mines.

2, mechanical engineering

Mechanical engineering is based on related natural science and technical science, combined with technical experience in production practice, to study and solve practical problems encountered in the development, design, manufacture, installation, application and repair of various machinery, such as the maintenance of household appliances, the modification of automobiles, the development of intelligent robots and the use of excavators.

3. Internet of Things project

The Internet of Things project mainly studies the basic knowledge and skills of the architecture, information processing, security technology, system and its application of the Internet of Things, involving communication, sensing, network, RFID, embedded systems and other aspects, and is widely used in life.
