Yanda University has two campuses, the South Campus and the North Campus. There are only dormitories for freshmen and sophomores in the south campus, and there is no teaching building. All undergraduate and graduate students attend classes in the North Campus.

The North Campus of Yantai University, namely the School of Literature and Economics of Yantai University, is located in Yantai, a key node city in the Bohai Economic Circle and the backbone city of the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone. It is a comprehensive college with undergraduate training level. Founded in 2003, it is recognized by the people of China as the first batch of high-level independent colleges.
