The First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, founded in 1949, is a large comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. Located in the center of Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, it is the largest medical center in the province. The Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, founded in 1954, is a third-class first-class hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. It is the first hospital in China to pass the ISO9002 quality system certification of French BVQI certification company. The Third Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University (Heilongjiang Cancer Hospital) was founded in 1972. It is the only third-class first-class hospital in our province that integrates tumor prevention, medical treatment, teaching and scientific research.
