Some schools have docking attractions, and internships can go directly to the attractions. Some schools will organize teams to study abroad. Our school organized a three-day tour of Jiuzhaigou before graduation. Go for a day, come back for a day, and play in Jiuzhaigou for a day. When I first learned to travel, I thought I could go out for free. Actually, I didn't. After traveling, traveling is for tourists and they don't go out often. However, it will be cheaper to go out by yourself than ordinary people. Unless you are a tour guide, the tour guide is basically fixed on a line, so traveling has nothing to do with whether you can travel more, just a job.
There is still a lot to learn in school, and most of the courses of economic management are arranged in school, such as tourism psychology, enterprise management, human resources, economics and so on. And the professional content is still very extensive. From the perspective of cultivating talents in universities, there is no problem with the curriculum. However, being knowledgeable but not proficient is a common problem for most people. About what to do after college, tour guide? Travel planner? Plan? Ctrip travel? Tourism bureau? Personally, I don't think any college graduate will do a tour guide job with low academic requirements and special fatigue. At least the graduates I know didn't go. The instructor may suggest getting a tour guide card, saying that some scenic spots are free of charge. Actually, you don't have to take the exam. Generally, few scenic spots in Chengdu will be given to you for free. At that time, it was better to get a teacher qualification certificate in teaching or human resources. Even spending time on MBA business administration and IELTS English improvement is far more valuable than a tour guide certificate.
Our school's tourism management is divided into three directions: hotels (including homestays), travel agencies and the planning direction of exhibition activities.
Hotel is the main direction of the school, but it is also rich in resources: other five-star hotels, such as Marriott series, Windham and Radisson, mainly study hotel management, hotel English, hotel front desk and hotel finance, and also have practical classes to make your bed, clean your room and feel the work at the grassroots level, because the teacher's teaching philosophy is to train us into hotel management talents.
