Monash University, also translated as Monash University, is a public research university located in Melbourne. It is a member of Australia's Eight Universities Alliance, Pacific Rim University Alliance and International University Climate Alliance. It is a five-star university in Australia and an academic center in the southern hemisphere. The school was established by the Australian Parliament on 1958. In memory of Sir John monash, an outstanding military commander, public official and civil engineer, the university is named after his surname, and the official Chinese name is Monash University.

The University of Southampton, the Royal University of England, was awarded the honorary title of Thornton, a member of Russell University Group, a member of World University Alliance, Yugoslav Federation of Technology, International University Climate Alliance, World Port City University Alliance and Lunkai. The school's predecessor can be traced back to Hartley College, which was founded in 1862. Its main campus is located in Southampton, Hampshire, England, where the Titanic set sail.
