The activity guidance center for young volunteers of Three Gorges University is a student group composed of college students who are engaged in social services. It takes "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress" as the action criterion, aiming at promoting the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, carrying forward the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation, improving the comprehensive quality of young students and promoting the coordinated development and all-round progress of society. In order to standardize the youth volunteer activities in our school, promote the volunteer service in our school and guide college students to carry out social practice activities, the Youth Volunteer Activities Guidance Center of Three Gorges University was established on April 5, 2005. This guidance center works independently under the leadership of the Party Committee of our school and the direct guidance of the Youth League Committee of our school, and accepts suggestions and help from other parties.

The Youth Volunteer Activity Guidance Center of Three Gorges University governs more than 20,000 volunteers and has 18 volunteer service teams for college students. They are: Volunteer Service Team of Water Conservancy and Environment College, Volunteer Service Team of Civil Engineering and Architecture College, Volunteer Service Team of Mechanical and Materials College, Volunteer Service Team of Electrical and New Energy College, Volunteer Service Team of Computer and Information College, Volunteer Service Team of Economics and Management College, Volunteer Service Team of Medical College, Volunteer Service Team of Literature and Media College, Volunteer Service Team of Political Science and Law College, Volunteer Service Team of Chemistry and Life Sciences College, Art College, Sports College, Foreign Languages College, Science and Technology. Responsible for guiding the assessment of the center staff, financial management, data collation, coordination and overall planning of inter-departmental work and quality training of center members.

Responsible for making the work briefing of the center, drafting and planning training or internal activities in time according to the situation of the center, recording the meetings of the center, sorting out the internal materials of the center, training in etiquette and presiding, and cultivating high-standard talents. Responsible for organizing and planning long-term volunteer activity bases and short-term monthly volunteer activities, in the form of setting up a central volunteer team and a long-term team, and responsible for timely follow-up of activities.

Responsible for planning the specific activity plan of the internal cultural construction of the center, aiming at enhancing the cohesion of the center. Responsible for news reports and photo collection of various volunteer activities; Internally responsible for the pre-and post-publicity of relevant activities of various departments; Assist the publicity work of the college service team.

Responsible for the maintenance and update of the website of young volunteers of Three Gorges University, regularly check the central mailbox and volunteer activity mailbox, upload the activity news of various service teams and classes in time, and collect and sort out the information about volunteers on the network.

Responsible for the regular update of the official Weibo of Three Gorges University's young volunteers (@ 京京京京京京), and establish a good communication and interaction platform. Responsible for guiding the negotiation of outreach activities of the center and contacting businesses and institutions inside and outside the school.

Responsible for making, writing and posting posters, drawing and displaying billboards, making and hanging banners.
