Zhengzhou Shuqing Medical College (hereinafter referred to as Zhengzhou Shuqing Medical College) was founded in 1984. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2002, it became the first batch of private general medical colleges in Henan Province. In 2020, the school was successfully selected as "Construction Unit of High-level Higher Vocational School in Henan Province" and "Construction Unit of High-level Specialty in Higher Vocational School in Henan Province".
During the 39-year history, Zhengzhou Shuqing Medical College has always attached importance to connotation construction, characterized by medical ethics education, devoted itself to building a national brand of medical education and medical and health service education, trained more than 70,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents for the primary medical and health service industry, ensured the health of the grassroots and effectively promoted local economic and social development.
Founder Wang Shuqing, the former chief physician of Henan Medical University, party member, a member of Jiu San Society, founded the school with a strong initial intention of "training medical staff with noble medical ethics and superb medical skills to solve patients' illnesses". At the age of 73, he gathered a group of old professors of Henan Medical University and adhered to the educational concept that "only with noble medical ethics can medical skills be achieved".
