School history:

Tsinghua School, the predecessor of the school, was founded in 19 1 1. The name of "Tsinghua" originated from the place name of the school site "Tsinghua Campus", which was a preparatory school for studying in the United States founded by the government in the late Qing Dynasty. The funds for its establishment came from 1908, part of boxer indemnity returned by the United States. 19 12 was renamed Tsinghua school. 1928 changed its name to National Tsinghua University. 1937 after the full-scale outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it moved south to Changsha, and formed the National Temporary University of Changsha with the State Peking University and the private Nankai University. /kloc-moved to Kunming in 0/938 and changed its name to National Southwest Associated University.
