Yu, male,/kloc-0 was born in Tongcheng, Anhui Province in February, 1963. 1983 graduated from Shandong Institute of Building Materials Industry (now Jinan University) with a bachelor's degree in engineering. 1986 graduated from Wuhan university of technology with a master's degree in inorganic nonmetallic materials, and stayed in school. Since 1987, I have been studying for a doctorate under the guidance of Professor Feng Xiuji, and obtained a doctorate in engineering from 1993. Lecturer from 1988, associate professor from 1993. 1May 1995 to1April 1999 as a visiting researcher at Hihachi University of Technology in Japan,1May 1999 to March 2002 as an assistant researcher, postdoctoral researcher and visiting professor at Niigata University in Japan. Professor of South China University of Technology since May 2002. In 2004, he was approved as a doctoral supervisor. He is currently the dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of South China University of Technology and the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Special Functional Materials (South China University of Technology) of the Ministry of Education. 20 10 was hired as distinguished professor, a Pearl River scholar in Guangdong Province; 20 12 as assistant to the president of south China university of technology; February 20 13 served as assistant to the president of South China University of Technology and concurrently served as director of personnel department.
