Three years of school education

This major is jointly organized by Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. The teaching plan consists of Chinese and foreign courses. Upon graduation, students will receive a diploma from Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade and a diploma from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology majoring in international trade.

The purpose of this major is to cultivate foreign trade application-oriented talents who are familiar with China's foreign trade policies, laws and regulations, master certain international trade theories, knowledge and operational skills, and have strong English application ability.

The professional teaching plan includes eight bilingual courses: Introduction to Organizational Behavior, Introduction to Accounting, and Business Computing 1. Business statistics (BusinessStatistics 1), macroeconomics (Macroeconomics 1), commercial law, marketing principles and microeconomics; Specialized courses also include international trade, international trade practice, English letters and telegrams for import and export, China's foreign trade, logistics management, international finance and international trade electronic practice.

Students will also receive comprehensive training in the "Global English" training system of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, so that students can have proficient English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and successfully complete the learning tasks of the above eight bilingual courses.
