1. Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, referred to as "Shangzheng" for short, is a public full-time ordinary undergraduate college with independent legal personality approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a pilot training institution for the reform of the recruitment system for police officers in the central government, a scholarship receiving institution for overseas students from China government, a training institution for overseas students from the Silk Road government, a member of the overseas preparatory education alliance for studying in China, a member of the Li Ge Alliance of the National University of Political Science and Law, and a governing unit of the "One Belt, One Road" think tank cooperation alliance.
