Ma Weimin was born in Pucheng, Shaanxi in 1965, and moved to xi Academy of Fine Arts in 1979. 1987 graduated from Xi Academy of Fine Arts, and was assigned to Xi education system to engage in fine arts teaching in the same year. He has taught in xi Shiyou Workers College, Shaanxi Normal University Academy of Fine Arts and Xi Academy of Fine Arts, and has been commended and rewarded by provincial and municipal education systems for many times. He is currently the director of the exhibition department of Shaanxi Art Museum, a member of Shaanxi Artists Association and a director of Shaanxi Workers Artists Association. Professor and doctoral supervisor of Tongji University School of Economics and Management have the same name.
