The Music Department of Hefei University has five teaching and research sections: music theory, vocal music, keyboard, instrumental music and artistic practice. Many teachers have overseas study experience.

In 2007, we became friends with the Conservatory of Music of hildesheim University in Germany, and six musicology students exchanged and studied in Germany. The teacher editor-in-chief of this department participated in five textbooks of the 11th Five-Year Plan of Anhui Province, won many scientific research projects at the provincial and provincial levels, and published more than 30 academic papers in national core journals and provincial academic journals. 20 10 in July, the students' choir of music department participated in the 6th World Chorus Competition held in Shaoxing, China, and won the silver prizes in two groups.
