Jiangsu University is located at No.301Xuefu Road, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. Jiangsu University, located in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, is a national key university jointly established by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, the People's Government of China, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. It is a Class A construction university in the "Jiangsu Province High-level University Construction Peak Plan".

The history of the school can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School founded by Liu Kunyi and Zhang Zhidong in 1902. Nanjing University and Nanjing Institute of Technology continued their string songs. 1960 Nanjing institute of technology (now southeast university) set up Zhenjiang agricultural machinery college independently. 1978 was identified as one of the 88 key universities in China by the State Council.

198 1 became the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China. 1982 and 1994 were renamed as Jiangsu Institute of Technology and Jiangsu University of Technology. In August of 20001year, it merged with Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang Normal College to form Jiangsu University. In 2003, Zhenjiang Jiang Bin Hospital was transferred to the school.

The school campus covers an area of more than 3,000 mu, with a building area of10.2 million square meters.
