When I think of myself when I first entered the university, I feel that it is not far from now. College life still flies. I will graduate in July next year, and I can surf again in the last year.
When I was a freshman, many departments and organizations were recruiting people during military training. I have been thinking about whether to join. After three rounds of competitive interviews, I was finally informed to officially enter the big family of the International Liaison Department. In order to eliminate the embarrassment of our first meeting, they prepared many snacks and drinks in advance. They introduced themselves first and prepared some funny talents. To tell the truth, I am a naturally shy person, and I am afraid to introduce myself in front of everyone. But in such a pleasant atmosphere, I immediately eliminated the tension. Everyone showed their abilities, told jokes with no talent and had a good time.
Because I have gained a lot in the department, I want to sum up my experience in the department. So, what's the point of joining the international liaison department of a university?
1, warm your home
The outreach department I joined was really warm. The seniors and seniors took special care of the freshmen and sent us iced drinks during military training. Take us to the playground to play werewolf killing after class at night; Take us to barbecue on weekends; Christmas presents cookies, chocolates and nougat made by ourselves; Writing greeting cards ... In short, we did a lot of things that moved us, so that freshmen who just left home for college felt the warmth of home.

2. Improve your ability and self-confidence.
After getting familiar with the work and nature of the department, my friends and I began to go out of the school gate to sponsor. This is not an easy task. At first, we were confident and energetic, but we were rejected by several companies. Besides, after a long walk, our vitality plummeted.
When we go back to school, we will hold departmental meetings from time to time, so that freshmen can talk about their experience in sponsorship, and then seniors can sum up, correct our shortcomings and impart some experience. For example, how to talk to the company manager, what kind of company will have a high probability of sponsorship, and pay attention to manners when cooperating with people from other departments. Politeness is very important in college.

As an officer for a year, my ability has been greatly improved and I have made some achievements. The days in the department are also the happiest time for me to go to college, so I ran for the deputy department and stayed in outreach.
When I became the deputy department, I faced more responsibilities, and I also understood the hard work that seniors and sisters paid behind their concern. The future development of the department is also a problem we need to consider.
It's another recruitment season. After a few days of busyness and staying up late, we welcomed a group of lovely schoolmates. 4. Harvest sincere friendship
Friends made in college usually have contacts around the dormitory and class, and occasionally there will be friction. But friends in the department are really a special existence. We worked together, talked and laughed all night, and experienced a lot. In the end, like family members, they become warm beings in each other's lives.
I don't ask for help in return, try to create surprises, show considerate care, and confide in my heart all night, all of which are the love given to me by this big family.
5. Lay a foundation for future work.
Because the function of our department is to connect the cooperation between schools and businesses, many activities and publicity can only be realized through the external liaison department. When you are working, you must contact and talk with outside merchants, so your personal ability should also be cultivated, otherwise it will be difficult to get sponsorship.
First of all, the interview in the International Liaison Department will be particularly strict and serious, and the preparation before the interview should be done well. Coupled with your sincerity and hard work, it is possible to win among many interviewers.
Our seniors and sisters who have entered large enterprises have experienced it personally, and the interview methods of large enterprises are basically the same as those of outreach interviews. Including self-introduction and display, simulation training, leaderless group discussion, etc. Of course, I had many wonderful and funny questions when I recited the interview, just to test your courage and execution.
When you become a deputy department, you have to interview other freshmen, and interviewing others is also an opportunity to learn. So interview experience is also very important.
Secondly, before freshmen begin to sponsor, seniors and seniors will conduct systematic training and patient teaching. Of course, your courage and hard work are also important, plus a little luck. Because it is impossible for a merchant to take the initiative to cooperate with you, it is necessary to rely on what you have learned to work hard and achieve cooperation step by step.
More importantly, after getting familiar with the business, you will know the operation of some jobs, and you will have experience in internship or formal work in the future. When you are lucky, the merchants will also help you introduce some jobs, which is perfect.
One more thing, if you are sponsored, you will get a personal commission of 20%. I probably calculated that my commission in the department is close to 2000, not including some brands of cosmetics (the value is close to the market price of 3000), free coupons for dessert shops, free coupons for cinemas and free coupons for KTV. Other small partners in the department also have many successful sponsorship (great).
Maybe some people want to learn more professional knowledge in college and don't want to waste time on other things; Some people may think that departmental work is meaningless and don't want to join.
