Introduction to Yunnan University of Finance and Economics Yunnan University of Finance and Economics was founded in 195 1, 1979 to recruit junior college students, and Yunnan Finance and Trade College was established in 198 1 year to recruit full-time undergraduates the following year. 195 was identified as a provincial key university by the Yunnan provincial government. Postgraduate enrollment 1999, merged with Yunnan Finance and Trade School in 2003, and changed its name to Yunnan University of Finance and Economics in 2006.
