Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJSU for short), located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is a key construction university in Zhejiang Province founded by the people of China, the Ministry of Education, the people of China, the Ministry of Commerce and the people's government of Zhejiang Province, and was selected into the "Excellent Legal Talents Education and Training Plan".

"Excellent Agriculture and Forestry Talents Education and Training Program" is a national model university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, the first batch of construction units of "Zhejiang International University", the founding member of China (Hangzhou) cross-border electronic commerce Talent Alliance, the founding member of the International University Alliance of Food Science and Nutrition, and the member of the "Belt and Road" strategic alliance of universities.

The predecessor of Zhejiang Gongshang University was Hangzhou Secondary Commercial College, which was founded in 19 1 1. Hangzhou Commercial College was established in 1980 with the approval of the State Council. 1998, from the original colleges directly under the Ministry of Commerce to "central and local * * *, focusing on local management"; 1999 Hangzhou applied engineering school merged with Hangzhou chemical engineering school, and was renamed Zhejiang Gongshang University with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2004.
