Ouyang Zhongshi, 1928, was born in West Xu Cun, Wenyang Town, Feicheng City, Tai 'an City. Famous scholar, educator, calligrapher, Beijing opera lover and calligraphy educator.

198 1 year, Ouyang Zhongshi transferred to the Education Department of Beijing Normal University (now Capital Normal University) and embarked on the road of calligraphy education. It is the time when calligraphy education in China is gradually reviving. Ouyang Zhongshi, together with many people of insight at that time, undertook an arduous and great historical task-opening up higher calligraphy education.

In 2006, Ouyang Zhongshi won the second China Lanting Calligraphy Award-Lifelong Achievement Award. Now he is a consultant of China Calligraphers Association, vice president of Qi Baishi Art Correspondence College, professor of Capital Normal University, doctoral student and postdoctoral tutor.
