The College of Arts and Sciences of Yangtze University is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning, which was confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004 and organized by Yangtze University. Yangtze University College of Arts and Sciences (Chengzhong Campus) was formerly known as Jingzhou Normal University. , enrolling students from 26 provinces (cities, districts) across the country, with the qualifications of independently awarding bachelor's degrees and jointly cultivating double bachelor's degrees with Yangtze University.
The College is located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. It is the capital of Chu State during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the hometown of the great patriotic poet Qu Yuan, and a national historical and cultural city.
