Yes, according to Article 19 of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Donghua University's Undergraduate Student Status Management, students applying for self-taught courses should fill in the Application Form for Self-taught Examination before the weekend of the second week of each semester. After the application form is approved by the teacher and approved by the college, the starting college will apply. Self-taught readers must complete the experiments and assignments of the course on time and take part in the course assessment. Those who pass the exam will get credits for this course according to their actual grades. The following courses do not accept applications for self-study: (1) political theory courses, military theory courses, basic legal courses, experimental courses and physical education class;

(2) all practical links such as military training, production practice, engineering training, course design and graduation design.
