Carrying forward the team spirit of "more light and less heat" put forward by Professor Jiang Fengyi, the College has made good achievements in the research and development of materials science and technology. In the past three years (2004 ~ 2006), the scientific research funds of the college exceeded170,000 yuan, and the income from the transfer of scientific and technological achievements exceeded 7.5 million yuan, and it undertook 4 projects of the National 863 Plan and 8 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation.
