North China Electric Power University is a national key construction university under the Ministry of Education's "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform". School 1958 was founded in Beijing, formerly known as Beijing Electric Power Institute. The school has long been managed by the state electric power department. In 2003, the school was placed under the management of the Ministry of Education, and was established by the board of directors and the Ministry of Education.
