Tsinghua University (hereinafter referred to as "Tsinghua") is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the national "Double First Class", "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project" and is selected as "201Plan" and "Everest". It is the base for high-level personnel training and scientific and technological research in Nine Schools Alliance, Song Lian Alliance, China University Presidents Association, Asian University Alliance, Pacific Rim University Alliance, China-Russia Comprehensive University Alliance and China, and is known as the "cradle of red engineers".

Tsinghua School, the predecessor of the school, was founded in 19 1 1. The name of "Tsinghua" originated from the place name of the school site "Tsinghua Campus", which was a preparatory school for studying in the United States founded by the government in the late Qing Dynasty. The funds for its establishment came from 1908, part of boxer indemnity returned by the United States.

19 12 was renamed Tsinghua school. 1928 changed its name to National Tsinghua University. 1937, moved south to Changsha, and jointly established the National Temporary University of Changsha with the National Peking University and the private Nankai University. /kloc-moved to Kunming in 0/938 and changed its name to National Southwest Associated University. 1946 moved back to Tsinghua campus.

Tsinghua University has entered a new stage of development. China University 1952 has become a multidisciplinary industrial university after adjustment. Starting from 1978, it gradually recovered and developed into a comprehensive research university.

As a top institution in China, Tsinghua University's enrollment has always been concerned by everyone. But relatively speaking, there are not many students admitted to Tsinghua every year in China. Accurately speaking, there are not many undergraduates, but many master students.
