Xinjiang University, referred to as "Xinda", is located in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a comprehensive national key university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, a national "double-class" construction university, a national "2 1 1 project" construction university, and a national key construction university for the development of the western region.
