Nantai University of Science and Technology is a private technical and vocational college, formerly known as Nantai Institute of Technology. Its campus is located in Yongkang District, Tainan City. Because it is a technical college, the engineering college is naturally the most famous, but there are also schools of business administration, humanities and social sciences, digital design and so on.

On the whole, this school ranks in the top three among private technical and vocational colleges, and its running has been affirmed by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan Province, which is roughly equivalent to two pre-secondary colleges in Chinese mainland.
