Fan Ceng, born on July 5, 1938, is a famous painter, calligrapher and poet in China. Currently, he is a doctoral supervisor and researcher at China Academy of Art, a tenured professor at Nankai University's College of Literature and History, and a doctoral supervisor at China Renmin University's National College. UNESCO awarded him the title of "Special Adviser on Multiculturalism" and the French National Star Gold Medal. Mr. Fan Ceng made the past serve the present, advocated "returning to classicism and nature", practiced the aesthetic principle of "taking poetry as the soul and books as the bone", created a large number of artistic images that people loved and created "neoclassicism" art. In his works of literature, history and philosophy, the humanistic care revealed was praised by academic circles at home and abroad, and his beautiful writings were praised as the first choice at home and abroad for many times. 1980, Mr. Fan Ceng created stamps and portraits of China ancient scientists Xu Guangqi, Huang Daopo, Jia Sixie, Li Bing and Qi Baishi for the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, and won the first prize for stamp design of China ancient scientists. 1984, Fan Ceng Art Museum was permanently established in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, and China is the only country in the world that enjoys this honor.
