Bfu is the abbreviation of Beijing Forestry University. Beijing Forestry University, located in Beijing, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and under the key construction of the State Forestry Administration. It is a national "world-class discipline construction university" and "2 1 1 engineering" construction university, and was selected as the 985 Project, the outstanding agricultural and forestry personnel education and training plan, and the "2008" dominant discipline innovation platform. Beijing Forestry University can be traced back to 1902, when the Forestry Department of Beijing Agricultural University and the Forestry Department of Hebei Agricultural College merged to form Beijing Forestry College. 1956, the Department of Landscape Architecture of Beijing Agricultural University and the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University were partially merged into the school. /kloc-0 was listed as a national key institution of higher learning in 1960, and/kloc-0 was renamed Beijing Forestry University in 1985.
