Ideological and political education majors are generally divided into normal and non-normal categories. Normal graduates generally enter middle schools or universities, where they engage in teaching, education and teaching management of ideological and political subjects, or organize party groups in schools and colleges. Non-normal majors will enter various state organs, institutions of higher learning, scientific research units, news, publishing and other institutions and related enterprises, and be responsible for party affairs, propaganda, administration, organization, party and youth league work and management.
